Workwear, leasingwear and corporate wear are not only used intensively, but also frequently washed and dried industrially. Even after frequent wear and correspondingly many wash cycles, the clothing should not only become clean, but also retain its shape and colour and, above all, retain its diverse functions in the long term. Thus, the requirements for workwear with regard to commercial laundering are very complex.
DIN EN ISO 15797 was developed by Hohenstein Laboratories to support manufacturers, suppliers and laundries in evaluating and labelling workwear for its suitability for textile service. Due to the different industrial care methods, DIN EN ISO 15797 represents a standard for a selection of load tests.
We are pleased to inform you that Hohenstein Laboratories have tested the AMANN products Serafil Recycled, Serafil fine Recycled and Sabatex Embroidery according to DIN EN ISO 15797 for industrial washing and drying processes. They are now also certified with the PRO label according to DIN EN ISO 30023 in addition to those AMANN products that have been certified with the PRO label already since 2019 (Saba, Sabaflex, Serafil, Serafil fine, Isacord, N-tech und N-tech CS).
The newly issued certificate and the revised AMANN PRO Label brochure can be found here:
