Retroreflective embroidery

Retroreflective embroidery combines decorative design with improved visibility in low-light conditions. Special retroreflective threads reflect artificial light back towards its source, creating a striking effect that becomes particularly visible in headlights or other direct light.

This makes retroreflective embroidery especially suitable for applications where design and functionality come together. In daylight, the embroidery has a subtle silver appearance, while in darkness or poor lighting conditions it creates a strong reflective effect. Typical applications include outdoor wear, sportswear, childrenswear, workwear and fashion applications where visibility and distinctive design are equally important.

For retroreflective embroidery, the thread needs to offer reliable embroidery performance while maintaining its reflective properties during processing. High abrasion resistance and a pleasant touch also contribute to durable and comfortable end products.
