Sewing Threads for technical requirements

techX Performance Threads include heat- and chemical-resistant, mechanically stressable and non-melting, self-extinguishing sewing threads made from aramides, PEEK and ePTFE.

Technical textiles are gaining more importance all over the world. They are increasingly replacing traditional materials in the most difficult production areas, and there are good reasons for that: Almost invariably they are more flexible, functional, cost-efficient, durable and environmentally sensitive, in manufacturing as well as in application and end use.

 The fine completion of the GORETM TENARA®-Sewing Thread assortment, is a sewing thread, made of expanded polytetrafluor-ethylene (ePTFE) fibres from W. L. Gore & Associates being extremely resistant against UV-rays, atmospheric conditions and chemicals. For light awning fabrics, sun Protection, shadeclothes, side curtains, outdoor furniture (upholstery, seat cushions etc.), boat enclosures and special uses in caravning, flags and advertising posters.

 The sewing thread made of expanded polytetrafluorethylene (ePTFE) fibres from W.L. Gore & Associates being extremely resistant against UV-rays, atmospheric conditions and chemicals. For awnings, garden structures, boat covers, sun Protection, shadeclothes, side curtains and outdoor furniture.

sabac SNA
 
 Due to its silicone-non-aided finishing this polyester/polyester core spun is particularly suited for the production of air filters, painters work wear and anywhere silicone is not called for.
Serabond 20
 
 The special sewing thread made from bonded polyester continuous filaments for the entire sailing industry, for leasure articles and heavier materials. Due to its bonded lubrication Serabond will not unravel and therefore is especially recommended for multidirectional sewing.
Serabond 30

 The conductive sewing thread made from continuous filament polyamide, combined with Inox (stainless steel) for safety shoes.
C-tech 80
 
 Continuous filament made from polyester/carbon (for dispersion and conduction of electrical or static charges) for clean room garments or safety clothing in the fields of micro electronics, pharmacy, etc. and for the sewing of composite materials.
